Ask about dates. More than in any other district, a JBR listing may be here for a fortnight, and the useful question is not only when you can meet but how long they are in Dubai.

Languages are worth checking too: the visitor mix here is broader than the resident mix elsewhere, and English is not quite as universal as it is in the towers behind.

The Walk, the season and the crowds

Through the summer the strip empties, the beachfront becomes unusable by day, and the same requests are much easier to arrange. If your dates are flexible, that difference is worth knowing before you write.
