What the directory stores

Two kinds of data, and they are kept apart. The first is what people advertising themselves enter about their own listing: name, age, district, languages, photographs, contact details and the consent record that allows any of it to be published. The second is what visitors send through the site: a booking request, a review, a question or a report — each carrying whatever the person typed into it.

There is no third kind. The site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and builds no profile of what you looked at. Two cookies exist: your saved listings, and — if you are a moderator — your admin session. Both are set by this site alone and neither follows you anywhere else.

Booking requests and how long they live

A booking request contains a name, a phone number and sometimes an address. This is the only place on the site where somebody else's contact details are stored unmasked, because a request with a masked number is useless to the person it is meant for.

It is therefore kept on a clock. A request that has been dealt with is stripped of name, phone, message and address after 30 days; one still waiting is stripped after 90. The row itself remains, so counts and history stay intact, but nothing in it can reach you afterwards. This is enforced in the database, not by anyone remembering to do it.

Photographs

Uploaded images are re-encoded before they are stored, and re-encoding removes the metadata that cameras and phones attach — including GPS coordinates, device model and the original timestamp. Nothing of that survives to the published file.

Photographs are served from this site's own address rather than an external host, and they are only served once a moderator has approved them.

Removal

Anyone advertising here can close their listing at any time, without giving a reason. Withdrawing consent removes the listing from every public page immediately — that rule lives in the database itself, so no query can forget it.

If a photograph of you is published here without your agreement, write to [email protected] or use the report link on the listing. The listing is suspended first and the questions are asked afterwards.
